A place that has changed dramatically over the years is the neighbourhood where I grew up. When I was a child, it was a quiet area with very few shops and plenty of open spaces.

Over the last ten years, however, it has been transformed completely. New apartment buildings, supermarkets, cafés, and wider roads have replaced many of the empty fields. Public transport has also improved, making it much easier for people to travel.

While these developments have made life more convenient, I sometimes miss the peaceful atmosphere that the area once had. There are far more vehicles now, so traffic and noise have become common.

Even so, I believe the overall changes have been positive because residents have access to better facilities and services. Whenever I compare old photographs with what the area looks like today, I can hardly believe it's the same place.
